Our Curriculum

The curriculum at Growing Seeds is based on the philosophy that children learn through day-to-day experiences. Learning requires active thinking and experimenting. During the pre-school years, play is one of the most fundamental activities to a child. Play is an important preparation step to learning highly abstract symbols such as letters and numbers. Our curriculum is based on Teaching Strategy’s "Creative Curriculum" which is aligned with the Connecticut Framework for Pre-School.

The most important goal of our curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners.

Using age-appropriate curriculum designed to meet the developmental needs of each child, the following are our goals for your child’s growth.
