We believe that children learn through day-to-day experiences in an engaging, safe and consistent environment supported by a trained, caring and responsive staff. Children need a variety of experiences that include daily opportunities to participate in small and large group activities which encourage math, language, problem solving skills, social and muscle development.
We believe that children learn best when they have opportunities to explore their world with adults encouraging and guiding growth and development. Our goal is to create a home/school partnership where parents and teachers work together to support children’s learning.
The staff at Growing Seeds Child Development Center are highly qualified and experienced professionals. Each staff member will participate in workshops and training throughout the year.
Our Staff
Director
Stephanie Croswell, responsible for the overall supervision and management of the day-to-day operations of the child care program. This includes hiring and supervision of staff, setting and enforcing policy and procedures, licensing, and other operational issues that ensure the health and safety of the children in our care.
Assist. Director
Responsible for overall supervision and management of our classrooms. Develops and implements daily curriculum, supports the growth of classroom staff, maintains records and enrollment, and is responsible for maintaining an orderly, clean and safe environment for the program.
Teachers
Participate in planning and implementing a daily program: assists in maintaining an attractive, clean and safe environment, provides care for the children in class; shares pertinent information with the program administration about the children and follows the direction of the Director and Assistant Director.
Teaching Assistance
Assists with supervision of the children in the classroom and assorted classroom duties as assigned by the Teacher/ Administration.
